Bucatini alla paesana

...al punto GIUZIO!



Francesco Giuzio is the chef of the italian resturant Mia bella Roma in Miami Beach Florida (USA); its renowned cuisine is inspired on the typical dishes of Basilicata, (simple but very tasty!), that loves to innovate traditional recipes with the original fantasy of his taste!
Come in Italy, try the recipe for today:








Bucatini alla Paesana

ingredients: 4 people

  • 12 0z of fresh homemade Bucatini pasta
  • 12 oz of fresh steam broccoli rabe
  • 12 oz of fresh italian sausage
  • 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves of whole garlic
  • 8 oz of sliced grape tomato
  • 3 oz of soft pecorino cheese
  • 1 glass of dry italian wine
  • one spoon of crushed red pepper
  • salt,pepper


Pre-heat a pan with the Extra virgin olive oil, add and roast the garlic, add the fresh sausage and cook it well,then the sliced tomato, cooked for few more minutes,now add the steam broccoli and the wine and cover!!
In a pan with salted boiling water cook the bucatini pasta, removed few minute before are ready and add to the ingredients, add two cup of the pasta waterand keep cooking till the water is almost
gone,then the crash red pepper and the fresh pecorino cheese and the italian parcely, cover and turn off the heat and live there for few more minutes , and ........BUON APPETITO!!!
